About the Role:

We're looking for a fun, enthusiastic, and compassionate Support Worker to join our dynamic team and support three incredible young adults aged between 18-30. These young individuals love to immerse themselves in a variety of interests, from baking and painting to arts and crafts. They have a love for life and enjoy getting out and about, whether it's attending day centres, dance classes, or arts and crafts sessions.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Spend your days baking, painting, and crafting alongside the people we support.
  • Accompany them to fun outings like bowling, cinema trips, and swimming (you'll need to get in the pool with them!).
  • Support them to the gym and help them stay active.
  • Provide gentle prompting with personal care tasks.
  • Help with balance guidance, handholding during outings, and pushing a wheelchair into a mobility vehicle.
  • Get involved in meal planning and preparation to ensure nutritious meals.
  • Use Makaton for effective communication (training provided if needed).
