Are you seeking a fresh start in a role where your life experience, empathy, and reliability truly matter? Whether you're returning to work, exploring a new path, or simply ready for a change, this opportunity offers a rewarding and supportive environment.

Who Will You Be Supporting?

You’ll be part of a dedicated team supporting four gentlemen aged between their 20s and 40s. Each has autism, learning disabilities, cerebral palsy, and epilepsy (well managed), and they bring warmth, humour, and a wide range of interests to every day.

  • Football fans and music lovers who enjoy match days and sharing playlists
  • Food enthusiasts and gamers who love home-cooked meals and Xbox sessions
  • Culture seekers who enjoy museums, cathedrals, cinemas, and theatres
  • Water lovers who take part in swimming and hydropool sessions (you’ll need to be comfortable joining them in the water)

They are full-time wheelchair users and appreciate support staff who take the time to understand their preferences and celebrate their individuality.

What Will You Be Doing?

This is a hands-on, heart-led role where your support helps others live life to the fullest:

  • Promoting independence by encouraging choice and participation in everyday life
  • Providing daily support with personal care, medication, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe, clean home
  • Sharing activities and hobbies, from football and gaming to cultural outings
  • Building relationships by understanding unique communication styles and creating trust

We offer a variety of shifts to suit different lifestyles, with rotas provided in advance to support a healthy work-life balance:

  • Day Shifts: 8am–4pm, 9am–5pm, 1pm–9pm
  • Long Day with Sleep-In: 3pm–2pm the following day
  • Sleep-In Shift: 11pm–7am

  • Reliable and compassionate, with life experience that brings depth to your care
