Female Support Worker – Darlington

Full Manual UK/EU Driving License Essential

Dimensions is seeking a FemaleSupport Worker to make a meaningful difference to a lady and gentleman we support in Darlington, by empowering their independence and supporting them to lead fulfilled lives.
We are able to accept applications for a part-time Female Support Worker (32 Hours per week). Working a mixture of 15.00-21.00, 15.00-18.00 and 09.00-23.00 + sleep in and 07.00-09.00 shifts
The people we support are in their 50’s & 60’s. they have learning disabilities and one has Down’s Syndrome. The people we support both enjoy full lives and would like to meet a Female Support Worker who can support them to:
- Attend day centre
- Going swimming
- Spending time at a favoured social club
- Listening to music
- Seeing family and friends
- Trips out for coffee and cake
Female Support Workers will also support by assisting with day-to-day tasks (which include – but are not limited to – finances, shopping, cooking & personal care)
The lady we support would like you to know that she uses a wheelchair to be mobile.
As the people we support have their own vehicles it is essential all Female Support Workers hold a full UK/EU Manual Driving License.
