Location: Droitwich, WR9 (Just a 3 min drive from Droitwich Spa Train Station!)
Pay Rate: £12.31 per hour
Hours: Full-Time (37.5 Hours Per Week)
Setting: 6-bedroom home supporting 5 males and 1 female, all in their 20s
Support Needs: Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) & Complex Needs
Support Ratio: 4 individuals require 1:1 support, 2 individuals require 2:1 support
Driver Requirement: Manual licence preferred OR evidence working towards this; must be confident driving transit-sized vehicles

Gent 1 – Sensory-focused, enjoys hydrotherapy, water play, and motorcross. Loves car rides and vibrations. Registered blind, has epilepsy, and responds well to sound-based interaction.
Gent 2 – Communicates through self-made signs and gestures. Loves trains, Mr Tumble, and imaginative play. Enjoys church visits and playful interactions.
Gent 3 – Has cerebral palsy and learning difficulties. Enjoys hydrotherapy, slapstick humour, and gentle guidance.
Gent 4 – Has autism and dyspraxia. Communicates verbally, enjoys food, coffee, and mechanical hobbies like bike fixing and woodwork. Needs support with budgeting and reassurance.
Lady 1 – Non-verbal, enjoys nursery rhymes, storybooks, and TV. Needs hand-on-hand support and encouragement to explore new hobbies like painting.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Providing personal care and using hoists confidently
- Supporting wheelchair users with safe manual handling
- Assisting with feeding, including PEG support for one individual
- Preparing meals and administering medication
- Engaging in sensory activities, outings, and creative play
- Building strong relationships with individuals and their families
- Observing and responding to non-verbal communication cues
Shift Patterns
We offer a variety of shifts to suit different lifestyles:
Weekdays:
- 7am–3pm
- 3pm–10pm
- 5pm–10pm (term time only)
Weekends:
- Long Days: 7am–10pm
- Day Shifts: 10:30am–8:30pm
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking female Support Workers who are:
- Experienced in care and confident with manual handling
- Observant communicators, able to interpret non-verbal cues
- Creative and engaging, comfortable singing, making silly faces, and having fun
- Team players who build strong relationships with staff and families
- Calm and proactive, able to problem-solve and work under pressure
- Confident drivers (manual licence preferred) or working towards this
