This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being active, thinking on their feet, and bringing fresh ideas to each day.

About the People You’ll Be Supporting

You’ll be supporting two gentlemen and two ladies, each with their own unique personalities and interests. They love:

  • Lego, building sites, boats, and trains
  • Football and country & western music
  • Hydropool sessions – you’ll need to be comfortable getting in the water
  • Meals out, pub visits, and holidays – including trips across the UK, Paris, and Dublin
  • Socialising and having a laugh

Support needs include autism, learning disabilities, cerebral palsy, and epilepsy (well managed). Two individuals use wheelchairs full-time, and one uses a wheelchair when out and about. Eating and drinking guidelines are in place for three people.

Your Role

You’ll be providing 1:1 support and helping each person live life to the fullest. Responsibilities include:

  • Personal care
  • Medication administration
  • Meal preparation
  • Supporting with mobility and outings
  • Encouraging independence and social engagement
  • Being a positive, energetic presence

You’ll need to be confident, compassionate, and able to bring fresh energy to each day.

Shift Patterns

  • Day Shifts:

    • 8:00am – 4:00pm
    • 9:00am – 5:00pm
    • 1:00pm – 8:30pm

  • Long Day + Sleep-In: 2:00pm – 1:00pm the following day (Includes Sleep-In Shift)
  • Sleep-In Shift: 10:30pm – 7:30am (paid to sleep)

Rotas are planned in advance to support a healthy work-life balance.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking Support Workers who are:

  • Motivated and enthusiastic, with a proactive mindset
  • Bubbly and engaging, able to bring joy and energy to each day
  • Team players, who also feel confident working independently
  • Creative and adaptable, ready to explore new interests and ideas
  • Manual drivers, comfortable driving a mobility vehicle

Experience is helpful but not essential – full training will be provided.

Family involvement is minimal, but you’ll be part of a supportive and consistent team that values communication and collaboration.
