Female Support Worker – Bromsgrove (B61)
Location: Bromsgrove, B61 (Just an 8min Drive from The Princess of Wales Community Hospital and Minor Injury Unit, Stourbridge Rd)
Pay Rate: £12.31 per hour (£50 Per Sleep In Shift)
Hours: Part-Time (28 Hours Per Week)
Driver Requirement: Manual licence required

About the People You’ll Be Supporting
You’ll be supporting two ladies and one gentleman, aged from their 20s to 60s. Each person has their own unique personality and interests, and they love:
- Cinema, bowling, and theatre trips
- Meals out and daily outings
- Walks and trips to the beach
- Spending time with people who have a good sense of humour
One individual uses Makaton to communicate, and all three benefit from positive behaviour support. You’ll be supporting with personal care for one lady and the gentleman, who is incontinent and uses pads. One lady uses a wheelchair when out and about.
Your Role
You’ll be providing 1:1 support and helping each person with:
- Personal care
- Medication administration
- Meal preparation
- Promoting independence and confidence
- Planning and engaging in meaningful activities
- Supporting communication and emotional wellbeing
You’ll need to be firm with boundaries, but also bubbly, creative, and able to bring positive energy to each day.
Shift Patterns
- Day Shifts:
- 8:00am – 8:00pm
- 9:00am – 4:00pm
- Sleep-In Shifts:
- 8:30am – 8:30am the following day (includes sleep-in)
- 9:30pm – 5:30am (£50 per sleep-in)
We’re currently looking to cover one long day sleep and one long day shift.

We’re seeking Support Workers who are:
- Confident and enthusiastic, with a proactive mindset
- Empathetic and caring, with a person-centred approach
- Creative and organised, able to plan engaging activities
- Team players, who also feel confident working independently
- Manual drivers, comfortable driving a mobility vehicle
Experience with behaviours of concern and communication tools like Makaton is helpful, but full training will be provided.
