At Dimensions, we believe everyone deserves a great life and that starts with feeling safe, supported, and valued.

We’re looking for a confident Female Support Worker to join our team in Stowmarket. This is a 25-hour per week role, supporting two incredible women across two supported living flats, with flexibility to offer support in other nearby homes when needed.

About the people you’ll support

Each woman has her own interests and support needs and you’ll play a key role in helping them live life on their terms.

One is turning 30 and brings colour and creativity to every day. She loves festivals, fossils, and funky outfits, and thrives on structure. She’s bright, musical, and engaging, and benefits from support with personal care, cooking, and managing epilepsy, anxiety, and ADHD. Creative approaches and clear boundaries help her feel safe and empowered.

The other woman is in her early 40s and lives with schizophrenia, autism, and a mild learning disability. She’s polite, private, and a joy to support. Her mental health can fluctuate, and she may experience distress, paranoia, or changes in trust. You’ll help her feel secure, maintain routines, and enjoy the things she loves such as animals, photography, cream teas, stately homes, and pamper days. She needs support with personal care, medication, and meal preparation.

Shift details

This is an experienced-only role, with a mix of early, late, and long-day shifts. You’ll need to be available for at least two sleep-ins per week, with occasional weekend and waking night shifts.
