- Part-Time Male Support Worker
- 25 hours per week.
- North Hykeham, Lincoln, LN6
- Full UK driving licence essential (Must be able to drive an automatic car)
We’re looking for a male Support Worker to join a supported living home in North Hykeham, Lincoln, where four men aged between their 30s and mid-60s share a home filled with laughter. If you thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and love being part of a close-knit team, this could be the perfect fit.
These gentlemen lead active lives and enjoy everything from cinema trips and football club to discos, gardening, and swimming. One gentleman swims twice a week, so you’ll need to be confident in the water. You’ll also support them to attend events, clubs, and appointments, often driving their automatic vehicles to helping them stay present in their community and the things they love.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Assertive, upbeat, and fully present.
- An excellent communicator.
- Quick to laugh and ready to join in with the jokes, humour is a big part of daily life here.
This is supported living, which means you’ll be working in someone’s home, supporting them to live life on their terms. You’ll help with everything from cooking and cleaning to personal care and mobility, always encouraging independence and confidence in daily routines.
Shift pattern: You’ll work a rolling rota, typically from 7am to 10pm, with sleep-ins expected at least once a week. Weekend shifts are usually every other weekend, and you’ll always have your rota in advance so you can plan ahead.
