Why Join Dimensions UK?

At Dimensions, we believe in helping people lead the lives they want, and this ethos extends to our team. We provide comprehensive training, continuous support, and opportunities for growth so you can thrive in your career. Joining Dimensions means joining an organisation that genuinely cares about both the people we support and the dedicated staff who make it all happen.

About the Role:

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and security of the individuals we support throughout the night. This supported living home supports 4 people on a wake night, with Building 2 offering 1:1 support for one woman.

You’ll be part of a supportive night team consisting of three other colleagues, including a sleep-in staff member, so you’ll never feel alone. Together, you’ll ensure that those we support feel safe, comfortable, and cared for throughout the night.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Performing household tasks to maintain a clean and safe home.
  • Conducting health and safety checks to ensure everyone’s safety.
  • Managing and documenting accurate records.
  • Maintaining a calm and comfortable environment during the night.
  • Administering medications in line with procedures.
  • Providing personal care support when required.
  • Working independently while upholding the highest standards of support.

Whilst this is a waking night role, please note that during your induction period and for specific training or team events, you may be required to work daytime hours. This ensures you’ll receive the best training and feel fully prepared for your responsibilities.
