About the Person We Support

We support an active young lady in her 30s who loves:

  • Horse riding
  • Clothes shopping
  • Spending time with friends at the day centre
  • Pamper sessions
  • Listening to music (her favourite band is Steps!)
  • Watching movies like Matilda and Secret Garden

She has a learning disability and epilepsy, and we're looking for a support worker to assist her in living independently in her own home. Lone working is essential for this role.

What Will You Be Doing?

Empowering Independence: Support her to live her life how she chooses, be herself, and achieve her goals.
Daily Support: Assist with personal care, medication, food shopping, and domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
Transportation: Help her enjoy trips out of the house using her own car, making a full UK driving licence essential to be part of her team.

Flexible Shift Patterns

24-Hour Shifts: 12am – 12am the following day (includes £45 sleepover shift) – Potential to only need to work 1 to 2 days a week depending on shift patterns.
Sleepover Shifts: Covers hours between 11pm - 7am
Flexible Schedule: Includes a combination of weekdays and weekends.

Rotas are provided at least 4 weeks in advance to support a healthy work-life balance, which we’re very passionate about!

"Gender is considered to be a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with paragraph 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010. In this context, "gender" refers to the sex legally assigned to an individual."
