Support Worker – WR5 (Worcester Area)

Location: WR5 (Just a 20-min walk from Worcester Foregate Station)
Pay: £12.64 per hour + £50 per sleep-in shift
Contract: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
Driver Requirement: Manual UK licence required

– Current Support Worker

We’re looking for Support Workers to join our team in WR5, providing person-centred care to five amazing individuals with learning disabilities and additional health needs.

You’ll be working in a vibrant, supportive environment where no two days are the same. Our team supports five individuals aged 20s to 60s, each with unique personalities and interests.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing personal care and promoting dignity
• Supporting with meal preparation and feeding (including PEG)
• Administering medication safely (including insulin and epilepsy protocols)
• Assisting with mobility and hoisting
• Encouraging independence and meaningful routines
• Supporting leisure activities such as hydrotherapy, cinema, theatre, and holidays

• Day Shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM | 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM

• Hard-working and flexible mindset
• Comfortable with varied shifts, including earlies, lates, and sleeps
• Enthusiastic about helping people live fulfilling lives
• Open to learning new skills (training provided)
• Comfortable with swimming and supporting hydrotherapy sessions

They love hydrotherapy, theatre trips, cinema outings, and holidays by the seaside in the UK and Spain. Some prefer quieter, leisurely activities, so adaptability is key.
