About the person we support:
We have an active gent in his 20’s who loves drama, dancing, gaming, visiting arcades, shopping, swimming, playing football and he is a big thrill seeker and is always on the go!
He really wants to be more involved with his family and is looking for someone that could support him with this, if you are bilingual and are able to speak Bangladeshi would be ideal but not essential.
He will go to day centres 3 days a week and visits a farm 1 day a week
He is a shopaholic and likes nothing more than buying the latest technology or electronic device, so you will be supporting him with his finances and to help manage his expectations on purchasing items he would like.
He has autism & a learning disability and we are supporting him to live independently in his own bungalow - An enthusiastic & outgoing support worker would be a wonderful match.
You will also need to provide emotional reassurance when experiencing behaviours of distress – full positive behaviour support training is provided but previous experience is essential.
