Join Our Team as a Support Worker in Worcester (WR2)!
Location: Worcester, WR2 (Just a 2min Drive from the University of Worcester)
Pay Rate: £12 per hour (£50 Per Sleep-In Shift)
Position: 30 Hours Per Week (Part Time)
Requirements: Full UK Manual Driving Licence

Who Will You Be Supporting?
You’ll be supporting a friendly and outgoing gentleman in his 50s with a brain injury. With a cheeky sense of humor and a love for socializing, he leads an active lifestyle full of interesting hobbies and fun activities:
- Music Enthusiast: Loves everything from Led Zeppelin to Girls Aloud, attending concerts and music sessions regularly.
- Movie Buff: Enjoys relaxing at home with a good movie.
- Motorbike Lover: Often visits Shelsley Walsh to watch track days and motorbike racing.
- Social Foodie: Loves going out for food and drink, making every meal an experience.
This caring and thoughtful gentleman values his independence but appreciates support for personal care, meal preparation, and companionship.
What Will You Be Doing?
Your role will be varied and rewarding, with responsibilities including:
- Empowering Independence: Provide 1:1 support to help him live life on his own terms, while offering 2:1 assistance in the mornings for personal care.
- Daily Living Support: Assist with meal preparation and ensure all eating and drinking is aligned with a SALT assessment.
- Engaging Activities: Plan and accompany him to his favorite outings, including concerts, racing events, and meals out.
- Building a Connection: Be a fun, friendly, and respectful companion, balancing active days out with quiet moments at home.
Shift Patterns
We offer a flexible schedule to suit a healthy work-life balance:
- Day Shifts: 9am - 5pm
- Evening Sleep-In Shifts: 4:45pm - 11am (1-2 required per week)
- Sleep-In Hours Cover: 11pm - 8am (Set rate of £50 during this time)
Rotas are provided in advance to ensure stability and predictability.
