Support Worker – Bath (BA2)
Location: Bath, BA2 (Just a 3 min Drive from Oldfield Park Train Station)
Pay Rate: £12.83 (£50 Per Sleep In Shift)
Hours: Full-Time (37.5 Hours Per Week)
Support Ratio: 1:1 and core support
Are you confident, enthusiastic, and passionate about helping others build independence and confidence? We’re looking for a Support Worker to join our team in Bath, supporting five vibrant individuals in their 20s with mild learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs.

About the People You’ll Be Supporting
You’ll be supporting two ladies and three gentlemen, each with their own interests and routines. They love:
- Football and rugby
- Music and dancing – especially Mamma Mia!
- Cinema trips and eating out
- Spending time outdoors in parks
- Volunteering and staying active in the community
They’re quite independent and thrive with support that’s motivating, respectful, and empowering. Four individuals have positive behaviour support plans in place, and training will be provided.
Your Role
You’ll be providing person-centred support that includes:
- Supporting with personal care (mainly for the ladies)
- Assisting with meal preparation and medication administration
- Promoting independence and confidence
- Encouraging participation in hobbies, routines, and community activities
- Working collaboratively with a team and communicating effectively
You’ll need to be motivating, assertive, and able to bring positive energy to each day.
Shift Patterns
- Day Shifts:
- 7:30am – 3:30pm
- 8:00am – 4:00pm
- 10:00am – 5:00pm (Thursdays & Fridays)
- 2:30pm – 10:00pm
- Sleep-In Shifts:
- 11:00pm – 7:00am (Paid To Sleep)
- Long Day + Sleep-In:
- 10:00am – 10:30am the following day (Includes Sleep-In Shift)
Rotas are planned in advance to support a healthy work-life balance.

- Manual drivers, comfortable driving a mobility minibus
Experience is helpful but not essential – full training will be provided.
