Make a meaningful difference with Dimensions UK.

We’re currently recruiting a Waking Night Support Worker to join our team in Tiptree, where you’ll be supporting a gentleman in his 60s. This is a 1:1 support role during waking nights, offering a unique opportunity to provide consistent, compassionate support.

The gentleman you’ll support enjoys an active lifestyle. He loves going out daily to clubs, swimming, the cinema, shopping, and eating out. He also maintains close relationships with his family. Your role will include supporting him with personal care in the morning. You’ll also help with his mobility using a wheelchair, Sara Steady, shower chair and a rise-and-recline armchair.

You’ll be expected to prepare breakfast and complete light household tasks such as cleaning, ironing, and food preparation during the night. You’ll also be responsible for completing paperwork, including scanning, shredding, and daily notes.

The shift runs from 10pm to 7am once a week, with the day changing weekly on a rolling rota.

Due to the location, applicants must hold a full UK manual driving licence and have access to their own vehicle. The role involves manual handling and securing mobility equipment, so confidence in using such equipment is essential.

If you’re a caring and reliable individual looking to make a real impact in someone’s life, we’d love to hear from you.
