Support Worker

Seeking quite unique individuals, who are passionate about supporting people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and complex health needs in Abertillery, NP13 3BP   **CONTRACT HOURS & RELIEF HOURS AVAILABLE**

• Full-time or part-time hours (minimum 25 hours per week)
• Hourly rate £13.20 for contracted hours and £12.80 for relief hours; Sleep nights paid at £50 per night
• Shifts available: 12 hour shifts; 07:00-19:00 or 08:00-20:00 with a sleep in shift 
• It is preferred that you hold a full UK or EU Driving Licence as the people you will be supporting ask that you are able to drive their mobility vehicles.

We are looking for quite unique individuals, who are passionate about supporting people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and complex health needs.   We are soon to welcome a new gentleman so need to grow our team by 3 support workers.

Are you a proactive, engaging and caring person who wants to become an integral part of our Abertillery Support Team?  In a large, happy house, you will be supporting  gentlemen, in there 50's and 60's, who have a passion for walking, going to the beach, swimming, and eating out. 

The gentlemen require a high level of support, and commitment, from you whilst you actively engage them in every aspect of their lives, and ensure they are living their best lives – the lives that they choose to live. 

Every day will be different, and rewarding, as you encourage and empower each person to be actively engaged in every aspect of their daily lives – this will include accompanying to favoured activities, supporting with daily living skills, administering medication and supporting with personal care and mobility assistance.
