Location: Tadley, Basingstoke - RG26 (Just a 5 min walk from Donnington Grove Veterinary Group)
Pay: £12.44 per hour (£50 per Sleep-In Shift)
Position: Full-Time (37.5 Hours Per Week)
Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence

Are you passionate about helping others live their best lives? We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Support Workers to join our team in Tadley, Basingstoke. You'll be supporting five incredible individuals, three gents and two ladies, who share a home and enjoy living life to the fullest.

Who Will You Be Supporting?

Each of the individuals you’ll support has a unique personality and a vibrant range of interests:

  • Outgoing Gent: He loves being around people, listening to music, and watching action movies. Trips to the cinema and cheering on his favourite football team are highlights of his week, as are annual holidays that he looks forward to.
  • Sociable Lady: She thrives in lively environments and enjoys activities like arts and crafts, movie nights, and music sessions. Shopping trips and visits to the hairdressers for pampering are her true passions.
  • Active Gent: He’s happiest outdoors, enjoying day trips, visiting parks, and swimming, where he finds sensory stimulation in the water. His love for music shines during sessions where he plays his tambourine.
  • Cheeky Gent: This lively individual loves being part of everyday activities, from arts and crafts to helping with shopping and meal preparation. He enjoys being hands-on in the kitchen and appreciates support in getting physically involved.
  • Fun-Loving Lady: With a fantastic sense of humour and a love for music, she turns every singing session into a personal concert. Shopping trips and social outings are her favourite ways to spend the day.

What Will You Be Doing?

Your role will be varied, rewarding, and tailored to support these wonderful individuals to live fulfilling lives:

  • Daily Support: Assisting with personal care, medication, and manual handling.
  • Encouraging Independence: Supporting them in meal preparation, household tasks, and participating in activities.
  • Promoting Well-Being: Offering emotional support and encouragement to pursue their hobbies and interests.
  • General Duties: Helping with cooking, cleaning, and laundry to ensure the home remains welcoming and comfortable.

Shift Patterns

  • Morning Shifts: 7:30am – 3pm
  • Afternoon Shifts: 2:30pm – 10pm (includes sleep-in shifts)
  • Sleep-In Shifts: 10pm - 7:30am (£50 Per Sleep-In Shift)

Rotas are provided in advance to support a healthy work-life balance.
