Who Will I Be Supporting?

You’ll be working in a lively and friendly shared home, supporting five incredible individuals (three gentlemen and two ladies) aged 18-65. Each person has learning disabilities or autism, and one gentleman also has a mobility disability.

  • Social & Playful: This home is full of laughter, positivity, and strong relationships—both between the people we support and the dedicated team that works with them.
  • Active & Outgoing: They love music, trampolining, bowling, and socialising—if you enjoy an active lifestyle, you’ll fit right in!

  • Building Relationships: The people we support enjoy spending time with staff, creating positive, long-lasting connections.

This is a well-established, experienced team, and we’re looking for someone who can fit in seamlessly and bring energy, enthusiasm, and a caring attitude to the role.

What Will You Be Doing?

As a Support Worker, you’ll play a crucial role in helping individuals live life to the fullest while maintaining their independence. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Personal Care: Assisting with personal care tasks (bathing, dressing) where needed.
  • Mobility Assistance: Providing support to one gentleman who requires full-time mobility assistance and helping others who use wheelchairs when out and about.
  • Health & Wellbeing: Administering medication and supporting with feeding needs for one individual.
  • Social & Recreational Support: Joining in with their favourite activities—bowling, music, socialising, and more!
  • Household Tasks: Supporting with meal preparation, cleaning, and general household duties.

This is a vibrant, positive home where no two days are the same!
