  • £12.00 per hour.
  • Full UK driver’s license with access to your own car is essential.

Do you love dogs, enjoy being active, and want to support someone in living their best life? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! Dimensions UK is looking for an enthusiastic and caring Support Worker to help a wonderful gentleman in his mid-20s live independently in his own home.

About the Role

You’ll be supporting a creative young man who is full of life. He is incredibly active and involved in his community. Your role will be to encourage his independence while being a supportive presence in his day-to-day life.

A Day in the Life

No two days are the same. He’s a keen runner, having completed a marathon and regularly participating in 5Ks. If you enjoy jogging or cheering from the sidelines, you’ll fit right in. He also has a passion for woodworking, crafting and selling handmade bird boxes and candles at craft fairs. Additionally, he works at a café, enjoys cooking, and takes long walks with his friendly Cavapoo, who will happily jump on you to say hello!

Family is incredibly important to him, and his mum is a regular visitor. Keeping these relationships strong is a key part of the role. While he’s mostly independent, he may need a gentle reminder. Your role is to be supportive and patient.

What We’re Looking For

We need someone who is active, encouraging, and can match his enthusiasm. You must be a driver with your own car (automatic is fine) to assist with transport. A love for dogs is essential, as you’ll be spending time with his Cavapoo. Reliability, patience, and excellent communication skills are key, as you’ll be liaising with his family, supporting his routines, and ensuring he stays on top of his daily tasks.

Hours & Shifts

The role offers 9-5 (four days a week) or evenings with sleep-ins (5 PM - 10 PM + sleep in until 9 AM). Support is not required between 9 AM - 5 PM on Wednesdays and Fridays, and you’ll get every other weekend off.

Why Join Dimensions UK?

  • Competitive pay and benefits, including holiday pay and pension contributions.
