“It's really gratifying to support this young man, he's a cheeky guy who keeps his team on their toes.” – Andrew (Current Support Worker)

About the person we support:

We have a gentleman in his 20s who does not communicate with words and he knows exactly how to make his needs known.

He enjoys heading out for a drive, a decaf coffee, musical toys and the occasional binge watching of YouTube videos.

He has a learning disability, epilepsy, autism and a patient support worker who’d be keen about his routine would be a wonderful match.

You will also need to provide emotional reassurance when experiencing behaviours of distress – full positive behaviour support training is provided but previous experience is essential.

What will I be doing?

You will be supporting him to live his life how he chooses and to achieve his goals.
You will be supporting with full personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, budgeting, cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
