We have a wonderful opportunity for fun, proactive and engaging support workers who thrive when they have variety to their days and flexibility in their working week.
You will be working for a dynamic manager, who takes the time to really get to know her team members, utilising their strengths and matching their personalities and interests with the people we support. She wants you to be happy and fulfilled at work and able to enjoy a work life balance.
You will work across 2 support settings in Cardiff, in the same building, supporting some amazing people who have a wide range of needs from mild learning disabilities, autism and complex health needs. As part of a flexible team, you will be able to learn from experienced colleagues and share your own skills with them.
The people you will be supporting live busy, busy lives so every day will be different, and rewarding, as you encourage and empower each person to thrive – this will include accompanying to favoured activities (and there are so many of these!), supporting with daily living skills, administering medication and supporting with personal care and mobility assistance, if needed.
