Seeking a Support Worker, who is passionate about making a difference to the lives of people with learning disabilities, in Witney, OX28 4TJ
Living in a beautifully presented four bedroom bungalow, the people you will be supporting are aged between 40-75 years and have a range of support needs, including autism, Downs Syndrome, cerebral palsy and associated mobility and health needs.
This is a very happy and friendly house, which is a pleasure to work in. You will become part of a very close-knit, and experienced team, who enable social opportunities and support with activities and daily living needs, including food preparation, medication, personal care and mobility assistance. It is essential that you are a driver and able to confidently, and safely, drive the mobility vehicles at the property.
Shift patterns: The two ladies and two gentlemen who live here, ask that they are supported over a 24-hour period. You will work amongst 3 colleagues each morning and 2 each afternoon. Each day, a member of the team is on shift from 14:00 one day, until 14:00 the next, sleeping in the bungalow at night, to be on hand if there were an emergency. In addition, there are flexible day shifts each day, which are planned to meet the needs of the people we support.
