Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can truly make a difference? Dimensions, one of the UK’s leading not-for-profit support providers, is recruiting Support Workers to join our outstanding teams across three homes in Buxton, Coltishall, and Norwich. Each shift will be based at one of the homes, but you’ll need to be flexible and able to travel between them, so a manual driving licence and access to your own car is essential.
At Dimensions, we put people at the heart of everything we do and we’re proud to be recognised as a Great Place to Work for six consecutive years. We were recently celebrated at the Talent Lab Awards 2025, recognising our commitment to innovation, inclusivity, and development within the care sector.
About the People You’ll Support:
You’ll be working across three homes, supporting four individuals. One young man in his late 20s lives in his own home and receives 24-hour support with two staff at all times. He enjoys his independence but can have episodes of behaviours of distress, so confidence and calmness are key.
Another gentleman also lives independently and is supported one-to-one, with additional 2:1 support several times a week. He needs close support when in the community. He’s full of character and thrives with consistent, attentive support.
You’ll also support two men who live together in a supported living home. They enjoy their routines, getting out and about, and having someone around who’s supportive and easy going.
Your role will include helping with personal care, preparing meals, giving medication, and supporting people to manage their homes. You’ll also accompany them to appointments, keep clear records of any progress or incidents, and work closely with families, healthcare professionals, and your team to make sure everyone gets the best support possible.
What You’ll Bring:
We’re looking for someone who’s caring, patient, and a great communicator. Experience with complex needs or behaviours of distress is preferred, but not essential. We’ll provide full training. What matters most is your attitude, your willingness to learn, and your commitment to making a difference.
