Are you looking for a role where you can make a real difference – and be part of something truly meaningful?
We’re looking for caring, fun, and positive individuals to join our team in Shrewsbury. Whether you're seeking part-time or full-time hours, we’ll work with you to find a pattern that fits your life. You’ll be supporting adults with learning disabilities across a variety of settings – from independent living to shared homes – helping them live life their way.
What Will You Be Doing?
No two days are the same, but you might find yourself:
- Supporting people to enjoy their favourite activities – from shopping, swimming, and cinema trips to bowling, dancing, and football matches
- Helping with daily routines like cooking, cleaning, gardening, and budgeting
- Encouraging healthy choices and independence
- Providing emotional support, companionship, and a listening ear
- Supporting with medication and occasional personal care prompts
- Building strong relationships and helping people stay connected with family and friends
Who Will You Be Supporting?
You’ll be working with individuals aged 25–60, each with their own unique personality, interests, and routines. Some are outgoing and adventurous, while others enjoy quieter moments and creative hobbies. What they all have in common is a desire to live life to the fullest – and they need someone like you to help make that happen.
What Makes This Role Special?
You won’t just be supporting people – you’ll be championing independence, celebrating individuality, and creating meaningful moments. The impact you make will last long after your shift ends.
What We’re Looking For
Experience isn’t always necessary. If you have:
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- Great communication skills and a sense of humour
- A values-driven approach to care
- The ability to work flexibly and as part of a team
- A full UK driving licence (manual or automatic)
…then you’re likely to be a great fit.
