Support Worker – West Bromwich (B70)
Location: West Bromwich, B70 (Just a 20min Walk from Sandwell & Dudley Train Station)
Pay Rate: £12.31
Hours: Part-Time (14 Hours Per Week)
Are you bubbly, proactive, and passionate about helping others live independently? We’re looking for Support Workers to join our team in West Bromwich, supporting three gentlemen aged 50s–60s who live in their own one-bedroom flats.

About the People You’ll Be Supporting
Each gentleman has their own unique personality and interests. They live independently but benefit from 1:1 and occasional 2:1 support, particularly when out in the community. Their support needs include:
- Learning disabilities and autism
- Support with personal care
- Use of wheelchairs
- Positive behaviour support plans
- SALT assessments for communication and eating support
They enjoy:
- Shopping and meals out
- Cinema trips and bowling
- Swimming and getting out and about
You’ll be supporting them to maintain their independence, engage in their favourite activities, and live life to the fullest.
Your Role
You’ll be providing person-centred support that includes:
- Personal care
- Medication administration
- Meal preparation
- Planning and engaging in meaningful activities
- Supporting communication and emotional wellbeing
- Promoting independence and confidence
You’ll need to be positive, enthusiastic, and able to bring fresh energy to each day.
Shift Patterns
- Late Shifts: 2:30pm – 9:30pm (most common)
- Day Shifts (Occasional Cover): 8:00am – 2:30pm
- Alternate weekends off
Rotas are planned in advance to support a healthy work-life balance.

- Team players, who also feel confident working independently
- Experienced with autism and learning disabilities (preferred, but training provided)
