?Looking for a role where you can make a real difference and grow a career? At Dimensions UK, we’re proud to support people with learning disabilities and autism to live full, independent lives. Right now, we’re looking for compassionate, proactive Support Workers to join our team across two supported living homes in Hellesdon.
Hellesdon is a well-connected area on the edge of Norwich, with easy public transport links from Drayton, Costessey, and central Norwich. It’s close to popular places like the Norfolk Broads, Cromer and Great Yarmouth seafronts, and Norwich city centre.
Across the two homes, you’ll be supporting adults aged from their late 20s to mid-60s. In one home, four individuals (three women and one man) live together, with two being independent and two requiring support with personal care, mobility, and daily routines. In the second home, three women live in a bungalow, one is independent and goes to work during the week, while the other two require 24/7 support.
The people we support enjoy a wide range of interests, from bingo, food shopping, and trips to cafes and restaurants, to arts and crafts, games, and visits to the seafront. They also love cinema, theatre, concerts, and holidays, where support workers join them to ensure they can enjoy every moment.
Your role will involve personal care, medication, meal preparation, household tasks, and supporting with communication, mobility, and routines. You’ll work both as part of a team and occasionally lone working, particularly at night. Shifts include early (7am–2pm), late (2pm–9pm), long days (7am–9pm), and waking nights (9pm–7am). Rotas are planned four weeks in advance, with alternate weekends or one in three.
At Dimensions UK, we believe in respect, courage, ambition, integrity, and partnership. If you share these values and want to start the new year with a career that truly matters, apply today and join us in making a difference every day in Hellesdon.
