About the Role

Part-time -15 Hours per week / £12.31 per hour
Shifts: 7:30am – 10:00pm (one long day and sleep-in per week)

We are looking for a caring and proactive Support Worker to provide 1:1 support to a young man who is building his independence and enjoys an active, social lifestyle. He lives in a relaxed home with a small garden and free parking in a quiet cul-de-sac.

Your role will include:

  • Encouraging independence with daily tasks such as washing up and changing bed sheets.
  • Supporting hobbies and interests like cinema trips, meals out, bowling, and swimming (you’ll join him in the water for swim sessions).
  • Helping maintain relationships with family and friends.
  • Providing light personal care, including prompting after bathing, assisting with creams and inhalers, and preparing meals.

Shifts are on a rota basis, typically 7:30am – 10:00pm with sleep-ins, including alternate weekends and bank holidays. A full UK/EU driving licence and access to a car is preferred but not essential.
