Job Description

We are excited to welcome new colleagues to our supported living home in Harston, Cambridgeshire. In this role, you’ll be supporting four individuals aged 20-50 in a welcoming home just 15 minutes from Cambridge city centre, 50 minutes from Peterborough, and up to 45 minutes from Newmarket and Bury St Edmunds—plus, free on-site parking!

Our team enables people to live independently and fully engage in their communities. We are looking for dedicated individuals to help us continue our outstanding work and bring joy to those we support. You’ll be working within a well-established team to provide person-centred support to people with learning disabilities and/or autism, supporting them to lead fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support individuals with their personal interests including swimming, art therapy, massages, and Friday night club!
  • Promote independence and help individuals develop new skills.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship.
  • Assist with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and housekeeping.
  • Work collaboratively with families and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic support.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills.

Shift Patterns

This role follows a two-week rolling rota, with shifts including:

  • 7:30am - 3pm
  • 2:30pm - 10pm
  • 7:30am - 10pm
  • Weekend shifts are required.
